Hillary would not have been a good VP choice as she sank into the muck-raking campaign tactics we now see with McCain-Palin. So far, Obama's attacks on McCain-Palin have been about disagreement with issues--nothing personal. He even stopped the press from attacking Palin's unmarried pregnant teen-aged daughter with his comments that children of candidates in this campaign were "off limits". I admire his campaign and get the impression that his administration would listen to advice as well as complaints of constituants. McCain is not as diplomatic, is reluctant to change and is adverse to criticism. Most of all, he is unwilling to quell that mob-like quality of his campaign audiences. In fact, he seems to welcome and appreciate it. He has opened the floodgates of mob mentality which could cause problems for the nation as a whole. We have already witnessed some results--mobs yelling for a "kill", a dead animal on a college campus, a false police reports of an attack. Somehow, I just don't want to go there as a country.
