In my opinion I would hate to believe there are too many people on this good old earth to maintain civility. There are men in the middle east who wear clothing as they did before Christ. You have priests who do the same thing but with much more bling. Preachers and Ministers ride in limos and tell people if they don't believe what they preach they will go to hell. In reality the death penalty by lethal injection is humane to society as well as the person being put to death. My only change would be to load the body up with narcotics first and then the poisons. That's right. Sedate them with morphine. But then again if I was on death row...who knows!! Now if we can only get rid of people like bin Laden, Bush, the Taliban, Pedophile priests, and politicians who preach one thing and yet are actively participating in what they preach against. I am not anti gay. I'm just saying if someone wants to be a politician and is gay, put it up front. Deceit is such a dirty word.

I am convinced that Bush's lethal injections to our military via Iraq, our economy via the overlooking of sub-prime debacles, our morals via the overlooking of Foley, Craig, Vitter, Macaca Allen, Rove, Libby, Cheney, Rumsfield, Hastert, et al. It is so lethal that his divisiveness has finally effected the Clintons to the point that even a "miracle of unificatrion" by Obama is questionable. Therefore be sure to vote in November if our defunct country is still viable to provide more death penalties for politicians with or without covering fire for protection against sniper fire from thos terribly bitter gun toting Pennsylvanians.

When a person is convicted beyond a shadow of doughty they shouldn't live another year, the way it is 15 or 20 more jails, more lawyers more judges a bigger burden on the taxpayer.(just another big business)clean out death row will make the next person think before he or she perpetrates.three strikes your out

Far too much time is spent on this debate. If lethal injection is so cruel to these "poor" people on death row maybe what we should do is put them to death using the same method as they used to commit their crime, shoot-stab-beat-bury them alive! After all they weren't worried how cruel it was to their victim and if they felt it wasn't too cruel a way to commit the crime it can't be to cruel a way to carry out the execution.
