I've been saying this for weeks. Hillary and Obabma are handing the presidency to McCain. One has to drop out of the race or one has to ignore the other. The constant fighting and arguing has turned off voters, supporters of Hillary will not vote for Obama and vice-versa. Nader or McCain will get those votes. Something has to give very soon or it will be too late to recoup the lost votes.

The mechanics of a democracy are not always neat & clean. I relish the public interactions between two very skillful players on the national stage! After 8 years of Bush secrecy, ongoing assault on American freedom, cynical manipulation of the media, and a ghastly shrouded war, this gives me hope!

Speaks volumes to the idea that a minority or a woman can handle a job better than an old white man, doesn't it? Does the Israeli/Palestinian conflict strike a familiar note?  You said!  No, you said! No, you did it first!!  Nooo, you did!  Ahh, screw it!  President McCain I wish you well and hope you can turn things around for the good of the country and not just the country's elite.  What the next four years holds, whether good or bad, rests squarely on the shoulders of we the people.

Obama and Hillary are both unqualified; he for inexperience, she for being a pathological liar. As George Costanza says, "it's not a lie if you believe it."

• Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)

• Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)

• She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)

• She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn’t cover the market back then.)

• She didn’t know about the FALN pardons.

• She didn’t know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted.

• Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error.

• She didn’t know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so.

• She opposed NAFTA at the time.

• She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.

• She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.

• She played a role in the ’90s economic recovery.

• The billing records showed up on their own.

• She was always a Yankees fan.

• She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons).

• She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there).

After almost 8 years of lies, missteps, mistakes and loss of American dignity and prestige around the world, we at last have a chance to take back the country and achieve something in our lifetimes.  Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are SO close in their philosophies, their vision, their hopes and their platforms that it does not behoove the Party to allow this bickering and infighting to continue.  We will lose the chance to win the White House if we don't understand that the REAL issue is defeating the Republicans who have brought us war without end, deficit without limits, and who have turned our nation, formerly a world leader, into a debtor nation with no respect internationally.  It's not worth lying and cheating to get in to the White House -- we are trying to get out the guy in there who already does that!  We must unite, or we will lose it all.
