Could we already know who is responsible?  Who would profit if the elections were postponed indefinitely?  Let's not let the terrorists rule the country.  I hope the government will bring democracy to a reality in this country.

Right on John, Musharraf plays it like a violin.

Paradoxically enough the Republicans  are indeed responsible with their wooden headed policies on following the mirage of American supermacy which will lead it nowhere. The  blame  falls equally on the Democrats too for  ignoring Pakistans underhand dealing with the terrorist establishment  from the 70's and 80's onwards. The democrats while endorsing aid for Pakistan in its fight against terror used to ensure that the senate or whichever body approves this  aid (loans)that Pakistan is using the funds properly  and does not support terrorism wheras the opposite used to be true. Inspite of India  shouting itself hoarse over Pakistan complicity and duplicity the Americans  ( Republicans also) would not listen.   The scenario goes back further if  you would also consider the stupid idiocy of Amerca pl;aying a foolish game of one upmanship against Russia when the latter had "invaded " Afghanistan in the early 70's. Had America minded its own business the Russsians would  have nipped the evil in the bud ( which was their chief aim of " invading " Afghanistan  but America played the dimwits game and  sent huge funds to Pakistan to  create Taliban ( read also Al-queda) and  created a muslim terror network which was rabidly anti all other religions. Thus America created a viscously poisonous  multi headed serpent from which it now seeks respite. Meanwhile more than half the world is engulfed in terrorism thanks to America the original terrorist state. I repeat it to everyone ad infinitun ad nauseum that 9/11 would not have happened had America  not played games in the Afghanistan theatre to score brownie points against Russia. The results are there for all to see but will anybody  look at this line of reasoning??

This was in very poor taste.  I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this goes too far.

Ah yes, it is Americas fault. Muslims need to take responsibility for their own actions and move into the 21 century. When you train your youth to be haters, what do you extpect. The cartoon is ok, but you will find there is much more to the killing than Musharraf. Profiling is a good idea.

I would like to have seen a tribute to Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto who wanted Democracy for her country,  She was courageous and spoke many times about the possibility of this very thing happening. But did not back away from the terrorists who did this to her.

A sad situation should be treated with respect.  "Cartoon", to me, is synonymous with humor.  Enough said........

Yet another political statement attempting to lay blame anywhere but where it belongs.  Blame the US, Bush, the Pakistan goverment, but no direct blame to Muslims or Islam.  Nothing will change until we identify the enemy.
