I find political talk is always cheap. On the mark

Not one of those folks listed has any concern over the three things, food, fuel or heath care, in the end I will vote for the one that stinks the least (like I always do)

Great comment, but the one thing you missed was the amount of raises nominally achieved by the working man.  For instance, as a retired govenment employee I got 2.4 percent this year.  Year after year, we see the same thing happening.  That why retirees get poorer and poorer, and that doesnt say a thing about those who get NOTHING as an increase, but whatever they retire with, that is what they receive forever.

let's see...you want prices to be low, but wages to be high?  i love the cartoon because none of the elected politicans can change the economy in the long run...

I am retired and living on government fund too and I don't have a clue as to who to vote for.  They all say what they think we want to hear but is there one at there we can trust to turn things around? I am serious.  Someone please tell me who to vote for...........

Why don't the fat cats on Wall Street give back some of the billions they get in bonuses every year?  Talk may be cheap but politicians & Wall Street  CEOs aren't.  Their bonuses could get us out of so much trouble!

Even though I took 4 years of Latin in school, I was not familiar with the word "bloviate".  In all fairness, it was almost 40 years ago, and who did I think I was going to converse with, anyway?  Anyhoo, after I looked it up, it just made the cartoon that much funnier!  Just wanted to thank you for giving me not only a good laugh, but a reason to use the dictionary for the first time in a long time!
