Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s!  But darn it all, do our sweat, blood, and tears all belonged to Caesar?   Guess so, and apparently, through deficit spending, our future financial well being also belong to Caesar.  I don’t mind paying taxes that promote the collective welfare of our country, but the do-spend-us projects and the outlandish promises are bankrupting us.  A small example, our local congress man is a member of some postal committee, so we have three new and very expensive post offices within a radius of about 5 miles, serving a fairly sparsely populated area.  The big projects are even worse, a war, like the Vietnam War, that was promoted by lies, which the rest of the world told us were lies.  And like the Vietnam War, we have no exit strategy.  Now we are told government managed quality health care is the right of all citizens?  Where does it end?  I have difficulty paying for my own health care, now my taxes will help pay for others as well?  Guess the government can just print more money to cover the costs, that’s what the Weimar Republic did, and the Mark was used as toilet paper.  Perhaps that is the dollars destiny.  An old $20. gold coin contains about $750 worth of gold,  a silver dollars contain about $15 worth of silver.  Nickels contain about 6,4 cents worth of nickel, copper pennies contain about 2.4 cents worth of copper.  Can’t anyone else see what this unabated spending is doing to us?  Sure taxes hurt in the present, but the deficit, in the long run, hurts even more.

So True, torture has been legal here for sometime if it is done by the IRS and local Taxers.

If we could only get the American people completely educated about The Fair Tax Bill, and insist that our representatives in Washington pass that bill (HR25) for us ......then we could put an end to the terrible and agonizing torture !!!  (Period)

Would like to see this cartoon again one day in the near future with an IRS representative tied down on the table and the American people standing around holding the Fair Tax Bill ...HR25 (Stamped "PASSED") , exclaiming "WE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH!!" ......PLEASE READ THE FAIR TAX BOOK, AMERICA !!  Let's take back our pay checks !!!
