BINGO. But then Congress could double the taxes on BIG FAT OIL.

Posted By: Delbert Jeffers  on Wednesday, May 07, 2008

This is what will happen. It is 18 cents more the oil companies can rase the price while keeping the price the same.

This has probably been said since taxes began.. "Corporations don't pay taxes,  people do."  No different now than it was then..Same as minimum wage.  Raise the wages then raise the prices.. I still don't know where anyone gains from it.

McCain's plan would let big oil raise as much as they want.

Hillary's plan would make the big oil pay for the tax with their additional profits over the ususal season.

Hillary's gas-tax is not only to save gas for people but to prevent big oil from raising prices just because it's summer.

But Obama would lie on that can say Hillary's plan is the same as McCain's plan, while offering no immediate solution for the American people. All his plans are supposed to kick in only AFTER he becomes president.

Why don't you draw a cartoon about a Congress that has not enacted an energy policy since the oil embargo in the 1970s, other than increasing the mileage required for new autos. It is always easy for Congress and the media to blame the oil companies instead of putting the blame where it should be.

PLEASE people wake up!! So called 'BIG OIL' has a product that they do not set the price on.  The price for oil is set by traders not by 'Big oil'.  So before you spout off at least know the truth. Oil is just like gold and the producer does not set the price.  I am not suprised that no one reports this.
