Great cartoon, Mike! I love how the far right is portrayed as a primitive mammoth. However, I hope that no conservatives are offended by this cartoon, because it clearly says FAR right, not to be confused with the average Republican. Those who are FAR right are people like Limbaugh, not McCain. As always, fabulous job, Mike!

A bit goofy and I may be mistaked but does that mammoth look at little like Limbaugh? Nah, can't be.BTW moral conservatives and Far Righters are not and never have been the same thing. While a few moral conservatives became enamored with the far right most disagree with their heartless views toward minorities, illegal immagrants and Cuba.I am a Evangelical Christian and a moral conservative. I have many issues with Senator McCain but none of them have to with his tendancy to cross lines, which I approve of totally. With the possible exception of his gang of 14 most of his cross-over efforts have resulted in compassionate law making. So I have no grudge against Mr. McCain, I disagree with him and disapprove of him for many reasons. Non have to do with the past.

Remember that seperation of church and state is in the constitution. Lets keep it that way. There too many beliefs on the word/words of other god/gods to allow for one belief. Our constituion was founded on the seperation of chuch and state. We have to keep it that way. We cant discriminate the religions of all that of the honest imigrants that come into our country legaly!!!

The visual definition of political pandering.McCain thinks the "Far Right" will "jump into bed" with him if he just shows up with the right combination of bribes. Ironically, this sort of manipulation is going on all over the place today (Valentines Day) though it doesn't involve politics. Just fork over what "the desired one" wants once a year and that should be enough, right? Somehow, I don't think the "Far Right" is going to be placated. We can hope they stay home, as they have never done this country any good.

Well he seems far enough right to want us to stay in Iraq and continue to spend billions there. We might as well change the laws and let good ol' Bush stay. And let's be honest the Far rights will vote for him anyway. God forbid they'd vote a Liberal in. I did enjoy the cartoon.Good Job!!

OK except a Dinosaur of some sort would of been better since they're OLDER than Mammoths

Or, even better yet, Roscoe, the first single-celled organism, since they're oldest. Oh wait, I forgot that the far right doesn't believe in facts — excuse me, I mean evolution.

Wanting to eject criminal illegal aliens who flaunt our laws is not "far right". The 'cartoon' falls flat.

Wonderful cartoon! Notice the closed body language with fixed position of arms. Nothing can get in to enlighten this mummified bunch of fringe lunatics. Will the tusks eventually assist with their own anhillation, I hope. Brilliant use of flowers which helps me to see a disgrundled and rageful symbol blowing hot air and "agin just about everything" and too stupid to know or care. Are these buffons supposed to represent the "compassionate extreme Right which keeps switching nonsense by choosing today what they hated just as much yesterday. God help the Nation if one of these nutty Republicans are turned loose on America and the world. Yes,I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ.
