Well, taking from the weak is the American Way.  Unfortunately, everyone will be weak in the not-too-distant future.

Everyone is a fool these days, from Congress to the public to the fools in the White House.  When will it end?

You do not have to blan=me some secret agreement between corporate farmers and the Congress for this.  It is somple economics.  Gas prices are high; Americans think that government is the slolution to all their problems;  government, not wanting to suffer because it did not live up to this role as savior, is pushing ethanol. Take econ 101!

Sorry, it is not our place to feed the world.  I am so tired of people putting our own country down for trying to take care of itself.  The other contries need to care for themselves, they call us names, refer to how decadent we are and how we interfere in the way they do things.  They (and our own oil companies) gouge us for fuel, burn our flag.

Yet we are supposed to feed and save their collective butts.  I feel no remorse for taking care of our own people first, instead of helping them, help our own poor.  Quit being a bleeding heart for everyone but U.S. citizens, keep our resources here and our food as well.

I enjoy looking at the cartoons that are posted, but often wonder what the creator of the cartoon is like .Is he doing anything to help the needy in the world. Most of the time I think they are just as hypocritical in their own lives as any other self righteous individual. They probably drive their vehicles instead of mass transit. They probably never give funds to the needy. They [probably have a house larger than they really need and so on and so on. Nothing more disgusting than a hypocrit with a big vehical and his mouth full of food.
